CALIBRATION FACILITY
The MSIR INDIA Acoustic Metrology Facility provides NABL-accredited sound and noise instrumentation calibration in compliance with IEC 61672 and IEC 60942. Utilizing Brüel & Kjær pistonphones, multifrequency acoustic calibrators, and an ultra-low-noise anechoic chamber with wedge absorption, we calibrate sound level meters, noise dosimeters, and measurement microphones.

Precision Acoustic Pistonphone Standard
Generates an exact 124.0 dB SPL tone at 250 Hz based on precision piston displacement and barometer ambient air pressure correction.
